These principals, our specialized knowledge, and technical personnel allow us to advance solutions to any transportation infrastructure challenge.When you join us, you’ll be part of a team responsible for all aspects of project delivery including the quality of project work performed, client service, utilization of staff, scope and fee development, contract management, invoicing, and project profitability for highway infrastructure projects. We’ll look to you for oversight on planning, directing, and coordinating activities of projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.Drawing upon your expertise, you’ll establish work plans, fee estimates and coordinate multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of the project while working with the Manager of Project and Group Leaders regarding assignment of project personnel. Your team skills will be utilized when you provide subconsultant management as well as staff development. Also, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of projects that meet local (State, County or City) and DOT/AASHTO standards. Come demonstrate your business acumen when you maintain positive relationships with current and past clients as well as assist in the development and implementation of local marketing and business development.We’d look to your expertise when researching and tracking future project opportunities with our Client Account Managers. Here's what you'll need • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering• Substantial professional years of experience in highway / roadway design and Project Management• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in GA or obtainable in 6 months.• Technical understanding of highway/roadway design standards including horizontal and vertical geometrics, drainage, utilities, traffic signals, signing, lighting, erosion and sediment control practices, stormwater management, and specifications• Working knowledge of CAD systems – MicroStation, OpenRoads and InRoads.• Proof of performing quality control practices through all phases of design and plans production• Strong proposal and technical writing skills• Previous experience tracking project invoicing including billable hours, expenses and project milestones.• Able to do occasion local travel for project related tasks and meetingsIdeally, you’ll also have:• Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering• Established local client relationships with GDOT• Active engagement in professional organizations Posted Salary Range: Minimum 150,000.00 Posted Salary Range: Upper 200,000.00 At Jacobs, we’re partnering across the globe to create the best project outcomes by maximizing the design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates.
