We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Healthcare Capital Construction Program Director to join our team in Chicago, IL. to establish a program management office, provide project leadership, management and oversight of the program. As the Program Management Office (PMO), overseeing the master planning of the overall project and as the Owners Representative, Jacobs is a liaison between all parties which includes the Contractor, Architect, Engineers, Specialty Consultants and the Owner. As the onsite Program Director, you will be responsible for ensuring not only the progress and technical performance of the team, but also the material management, schedule, cost, scope, and safety of the project. You’ll be accountable for successfully delivering a program to the satisfaction of the client and key stakeholders by utilizing your expertise to services defined in the design and construction phases and for managing our project team working alongside the Owner’s staff. Additionally, you’ll be responsible not only for the overall project delivery, but also for the management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives. Here's what you'll need Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture15+ years of project and program manager experience including management of large healthcare facility and hospital construction programs of $500 million or moreProgram Management Office (PMO) set up experienceStrong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building.
