Nephrology Physician

DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nephrologist to join our team in providing specialized care to patients with kidney diseases and related conditions in the vibrant city of Ohio.Job Description:* Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with various kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), glomerulonephritis, and kidney stones.* Manage patients with hypertension and electrolyte disorders, which often accompany kidney disease.* Oversee dialysis treatments for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).* Perform kidney biopsies and interpret diagnostic tests.* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.* Educate patients on kidney health and disease prevention.* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.* Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in nephrology through ongoing professional development.Qualifications:* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology* Valid medical license in Ohio State* Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating kidney diseases* Proficiency in managing dialysis and other renal replacement therapies* Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environmentBenefits:* Highly competitive hourly rate* Flexible scheduling options* Opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives* Access to a supportive and collaborative team
