Hematology/Oncology Physician

Duration: Up to 6 months, starting ASAPSchedule:* Days: Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM* Friday: 36 patient hours + 4 hours admin time* Frequency: 3-4 weeks/month + 1 weekend of call/monthResponsibilities:* Setting: General Medical Oncology, hospital-based, and clinic.* Daily Census: 12-15 patients, with patient encounters in the morning and afternoon.* Support Staff: Oncologist, Medical Assistants, RNs, Nurse Practitioners, Referral Specialist, Receptionists, Patient Advocate, and Practice Manager.* EMR: CernerRequirements:* Licenses: Arizona license required, IMLC accepted.* Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology, BLS required, ACLS preferred.* Experience: Minimum 3 years in medical oncology.* Credentials: DEA required.* Vaccines: COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (exemptions allowed).Facility Details:* Type: Acute Care Hospital* Bed Size: Approximately 90 bedsAdditional Notes:* Credentialing timeframe: 30 days* Adult patient population (18+)* No special procedures required* Observed holidays and their specific scheduling to be confirmed with the account manager.* Case load primarily involves general oncology.
