About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Human Resources to lead and direct HR programs and policies across its multiple locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of HR services, including recruitment, staffing, compensation, benefits, employee well-being, performance management, training, payroll, and labor relations. This role involves developing and implementing strategic HR policies, goals, and self-service capabilities, as well as creating a 3-5 year strategic HR plan. The Associate Vice President will also be tasked with assessing and improving HR functions, advising on HR strategies to meet organizational objectives, managing HR staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Applicants for the Associate Vice President of HR position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four years of professional HR experience. A Master's degree in HR, management, business, or a related field, and a preferred ten years of HR experience, are also desirable. The role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in HRIS software (preferably Workday), and the ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR management, be adept at conflict mediation, and have experience in budget oversight, compensation programs, and negotiation with local unions. The role is pivotal in maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and external agencies, as well as representing the organization in various forums.
