Junior Software Automation Test Engineer

Position Summary: MAG Aerospace is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Software Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Automation Test Engineer, you will support the Wideband Control Integration Test Division at Tobyhanna Army Depot ensuring the reliability and functionality by identifying issues before the software reaches end-users. Effective testing by the Test Team improves end-user satisfaction by ensuring the software meets all war-fighter needs. If you are interested in joining a team that is laser-focused on serving our customers with technical expertise, operational excellence, and flawless execution, then we encourage you to apply today This position is on-site Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to: Ability to create programs, functions, and capabilities by writing code in a variety of computer Be able to self-task and make decisions while working in a fast-paced changing environment Support and enhance automation testing for various satellite systems for PdM Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems (WESS) Requirements: Minimum Requirements Knowledge and Skills 1 or more years of experience in coding and software pipelines in a professional or academic environment Must have experience working with Terraform and/or Ansible Must be able to work within a small team Must be able to self-task and make decisions Must have the flexibility to work within a changing environment Education High School Diploma Desired Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is a plus Experience working with virtual environments (VMWare, ProxMox, Hyper-V) Experience working with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) Experience working with sprints or in an agile environment is Cloud Computing experience Other Qualifications Must be a U.S. Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or be able to obtain one Special Note: The position is contingent upon candidates ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.
