Job Description
The candidate will perform
Application Production Support
activities as part of the
EQD eTrading application support team . This role combines providing real-time support for Equity Derivatives eTrading systems with contributing to broader strategic initiatives. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring system stability, monitoring application performance, and facilitating smooth interactions between IT and the Equity Derivatives business.

Role and responsibilities _
Application Support
Provide
proactive and reactive production support
for Equity Derivatives applications.
Manage and resolve incidents in real time, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.
Partner with development and product teams to address system issues and implement improvements.
Incident and Problem Management
Rapidly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
Maintain incident logs and provide detailed reports for management.
Monitoring and Maintenance
Develop and enhance monitoring tools to ensure optimal system performance.
Perform regular system checks and scheduled maintenance activities.
Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and coordinate with relevant teams to address them.
Business Liaison and Proximity Support
Act as the technical interface for traders and business users in Equity Derivatives.
Provide clear communication and training on system functionalities.
Understand and adapt to business needs, ensuring systems align with user requirements.
Knowledge Management and Documentation
Maintain detailed documentation for production environments, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Share knowledge and best practices within the global application support team.

Qualifications:Qualifications
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance.
Minimum
4+ years of experience
in application production support within a dynamic environment.
Technical proficiency in
FIX protocol, SQL, Linux and scripting.
Strong understanding of
equities markets
, trading systems, and Order Management Systems (OMS).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Clear verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on documentation.
Proven ability to manage and resolve risks and issues affecting production and end-users.
Additional Attributes:
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
A proactive approach to system monitoring and improvement.
Familiarity with global team collaboration and project leadership.

The salary range for this role is US$95,000 - US$130,000. Working on C2C is possible too.
