Front Office Support Analyst - Equity Algorithmic Trading
Large investment bank requires a Support Analyst to join their Front Office facing Equity Production Management team. This is a production level two support role in Equity Sales & Trading, supporting the banks Algo plant. The algorithmic trading product offering provides internal and client users with a wide range of algorithmic trading strategies including cash equity, derivatives and FX.
Responsibilities :Investigating user queries via database queries using raw SQL, log files and process interaction, e.g. order issues, flow breaks, booking issuesResponsible for notifying the business unit of system issues or failures and carrying out subsequent incident management and problem management in-line with ITIL best practiceRequired to correct system break/fix and user recoveryBe comfortable escalating problems to core development and engineering groups in a timely mannerProactive & reactive real-time monitoring of processes, connections & trade flowsRequire to liaise with the Operations department and Controllers where appropriateWorking closely with regional counterparts to build and leverage tools and standardize monitoring procedures.Building tooling to optimize day to day operationsSkills:
