National Power, LLC, is seeking an HR Generalist to join our growing team in the Raleigh headquarters office. Under the general direction of and reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Generalist will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with the HR team to support talent acquisition, onboarding, talent management, payroll, and compliance.The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do mindset; a willingness to go above and beyond to support our employees; be upbeat, energetic, and highly motivated; and be able to positively interact in a caring, professional manner with employees at all levels.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCore duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Spearhead the recruiting/hiring function for assigned division(s) to include ATS administration and extension of offer letter and termsPrimary responsibility for all pre-hire screening, to include criminal background, motor vehicle record and reference checks, as well as pre-hire drug screensFacilitates new hire onboarding, and orientation to ensure smooth employee integration.Maintains accurate and compliant personnel files, HR databases, and HRIS recordsProcesses HR-related documentation including employment verifications, personnel action forms, and status changesEnsures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsGenerates various HR reports and analytics to support business decisionsAssists with performance management processes including coordinating review cycles, maintaining documentation, and tracking completionAssists with affirmative action planning and reporting requirementsSupport DEI efforts as neededPartners with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee changesServes as backup support for payroll processing in the absence of primary payroll administratorParticipate in the planning and coordination of employee events and activities

Education & Experience

Bachelor's or associate's degree in human resources or business administration preferred2 years' experience in HR role preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelExcellent organizational and time management skillsSuperior written and verbal communication abilitiesDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentialityDetail-oriented with strong analytical skillsExperience with HRIS systems preferred
