The
Human Resources Generalist
supports two communities: Magnolia Glenn and Abbotswood at Stonehenge. The HRG oversees all Human Resources functions for both communities. This role will be onsite and divide time between both communities as needed.What will I do every day?Assist in complying with human resources related company policies, as well as all applicable federal, state and local employment lawsInterview, hire, train, manage and retain highly effective associatesDevelop and administer associate training programs to create a climate of associate engagementManage associate appreciation programsSupport and coach associates and managers regarding all Kisco human resources practicesWork with department directors on goal setting, annual performance reviews, salary, and terminationsInvestigate and resolve associate grievances and complaintsActively facilitate and support the companys associate wellness program and effortsMonitor unemployment claims and attend hearings and appeals as neededActively handle workers compensation claimsCoordinate all leaves of absenceOversee payroll data, distribute paychecks, and conduct self-audits as appropriateResponsible for maintaining accurate personnel files in HRIS systemsPerform other related duties as requiredWhat will I need to be successful in this role?A passion for excellenceBe a great team playerBe a progressive and creative thinkerBachelors degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred3 to 5 years of minimum experience required in the same or similar positionHigh competency in HRIS systemsSpecial Requirements and or Certifications:PHR and/or SHRM certification preferredWhats in it for me?
