Night Shuttle Driver
for the
Highland Park
depot.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Shuttle Driver will be delivering product with a tractor/trailer from the Metro Detroit Depots to cross docks located throughout Michigan. These locations include but are not limited to Saginaw, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Gaylord and Traverse City. Other duties include but are not limited to:Perform pre/post trip inspectionsFollow all D.O.T. and State regulated laws including HOS and ELD complianceUnload product at cross-docksAssist in separating and staging productOperate power and manual pallet jacksOperate hi-lo equipmentPerform clean-up of area as neededOther tasks as assigned by supervisionWork Environment & Physical Demands
The Shuttle Driver will be on the road in all weather conditions.
Work Schedule
The Shuttle Driver is a full-time position working Sunday through Thursday with start times varying between 7:00 PM and 3:00 AM. Friday shifts may be required.

21 years of age and olderChauffer licenseCDL A requirement including manual transmissionAt least 1-year verifiable experienceHi-lo experienceELD and Log-Book experience (preferred)Willing to work in all weather conditions.Willingness to take direction and work independentlyAbility to occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.Acceptable driving recordAdditional Requirements:
Able to pass DOT physical and obtain DOT card through GLWAS.Pass pre-employment screenings including a full Background Check, 10-Panel Drug Test, and Agility TestAdhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules.Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS.Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position.Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.Maintain a safe driving record.
