And we're growing The Role Our Retail and Consumer Good Practice group is looking for a Supply Chain IT Business Analyst to join our journey. We're looking for Senior Consultant who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant's industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings (e.g., Strategic Control Points, development of consulting assets); and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects. Leveraging data to monitor and enhance operational effectiveness. Lead discussions with clients and work in a fast paced environment Working in agile delivery programs. Process mapping and requirements gathering, including defining user personas and journey Liaison with technology / product / data scientist teams, provide and manage functional inputs for the programs Exposure in end to end software development lifecycle as Business Analyst or Business user or Functional Consultant Participate and contribute to business development efforts Participate and contribute to practice competency development Qualifications: Business-technology consultants with 10 years of experience for our Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel and Hospitality (RCGTH) practice. Exposure to SQL querying; SPSS or Excel based large data analysis. Experience in engagements with RCGTH clients and understanding of processes in Supply Chain Management is essential Experience in leading client workshops, discussing detailed business requirements to drive productivity in these processes Experience in one or more of Inventory Management; Warehouse Operations; Order Management; Forecasting; Supply Chain Planning; Transportation management Technology savvy with exposure in querying and analyzing large datasets inventory and supply chain data Hands on experience in designing, training and implementing inventory management technology solutions in retail environment Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering,) required. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
