PRN Occupational TherapistPrimary Job Responsibilities:
To provide quality Occupational therapy services and initiates referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation and conduct specialized evaluations as indicated.To supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in the implementation of the treatment plan.Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its useGuide and educate family members and caregiversObserve, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goalsSkills
