Job Summary and DutiesPosition: Business Underwriting Processor / Business Underwriting Processor Team LeadReports to: CLC Manager / CLC Underwriting Team LeadDivision: Credit AdministrationDepartment: Cadence Loan CenterSummary:Overall, the Business Underwriting Processor and the Business Underwriting Processor Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring that Business Loan Applications are processed through the CLC Underwriting Process and updated and sufficiently complete to be processed forward to the submitting RM for closing and docs. Specifically, but not limited to, the Business Loan Applications will be decisioned using the Automated Decisioning functionality of the P-2 origination system. The Underwriting Process would complete a review of automated decision recommendations, collateral, aggregate business exposure, required fields in P-2, stipulations needed for each loan types, and other items as needed. Communication with the RM and RMA's, Underwriters, and Central LOan Operations would be integral to job function. Specifically items such as terms, rates, compliance data, collateral documentation required to process a new, renewal, or increase loan is gathered, corrected, and organized for closing.. This position will have some authority, as assigned by CLC Manger, to make risk based determinations with regards to automated underwriting decisions.Job Duties:The Business Underwriting Processor job duties and responsibilities include the following:Review Loan conditions required for closing of all approved loan applicationsMake rational risk based decisions with regards to post-underwriting and processing, to include setting specific credit stipulations required based on the loan product and collateral typeAs information is received, updating the system with said informationEnsure that before a loan is set to be routed to the RM or RMA for closing & documents are prepared, that all underwriting credit and collateral conditions are met and that the loan adheres to regulatory guidelines and bank policyUnderstanding of Business Credit Score Beacon scores and ability to review a credit reportKeep loan status updated for each application via the P-2 Comments tab, as well as through email.Ensure that all documents used in the decisioning of the loan are captured in the shared Google Drive folder for the loan applicationThe Business Underwriting Processor Team would be responsible for supporting the CLC Manager and CLC Team Lead in the day to day supervision of business underwriting process Business Underwriting ProcessorsSupport of other Lending Processes within the CLC as assigned

Qualifications:High school education or equivalent2-5 years loan processing or lending experience, preferably in business lending environmentTeam Lead should have experience in leading or supervising in a similar processing or lending environmentExperience with an understanding of loan collateral and loan structure.Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.Detail oriented.Strong customer service skills.Service oriented team playerSelf-motivated, ability to work independently, strong organizational skills.Results oriented and detail driven. Ability to multitask and work in a high pressure environment. Ability to use Excel, GMail, Google Suite, and other Bank Systems and Web based tool usage.
