Description: We are currently seeking an individual with a strong background in System Administration to support web and desktop applications for a large enterprise. This position involves:

Providing administrative services for a large Windows enterpriseAssigning individual and group access to applications, domains, and systemsManaging user registration and profilesMaintaining disk space on Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) architecturesProviding directory and resource managementPerforming change management in accordance with established policies, processes, and proceduresLogging all activity in RemedyEnsuring that anti-virus software agents and definitions are currentMitigating vulnerabilities reported by IT security scans and industry reportsManaging Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)Maintaining software inventories, warranty information, and vendor contact information using automated and manual processesProvisioning hardware as necessary to support hosting and service requirementsDeveloping and maintaining Continuity of Operations (COOP) information and materialsDeveloping, executing, and auditing backup proceduresRestoring data as necessary from backups

Required Experience and Skills:

CompTIA Security+ Certification5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Server operating systemsExperience with Storage Area Network (SAN) architecturesExperience with VM Ware and other virtual environmentsExcellent customer service and communication skillsMust have an active Secret security clearance

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldFamiliarity with the U.S. Air Force Standard Desktop Configuration for WindowsExperience working with the U.S. Air Force as a civilian, contractor, or service member.NET Framework configuration and/or development experienceTeam Foundation Server (TFS) configuration, management, and use experienceRelease Management experienceWindows ServerVisual StudioSecurity Template Implementation Guide (STIG) experienceInternet Information Services (IIS) administration experience

Hours:

100% OnsiteFull Time (average 40 hours per week)Flexible hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
