My client isseeking a dedicated and experienced EHS Engineer tolead Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) operations
-This individual will oversee safety, compliance, and training efforts to prevent occupational injuries, illnesses, and emergencies related to hazardous materials and working conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
You will lead and manage EHS operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards for manufacturing and production processes.Direct the facility’s Emergency Response Team, focusing on Fire & HAZMAT Safety, CPR, and First Aid.Conduct safety and environmental risk analyses, as well as investigate accidents, incidents, and malfunctions.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive EHS initiatives, ensuring the site meets corporate and global EHS objectives.Partner with the Global EHS folkson strategic initiatives, including sustainability and energy-saving programs.Perform regular safety audits, Gemba walks, and coordinate EHS training programs.Support ISO 14001 certification efforts and manage environmental performance audits in collaboration with the quality team.Prepare weekly and monthly EHS reports, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines and regulatory requirements.Develop, review, and update site EHS procedures and safety programs.Monitor and manage the removal of biological, physical, or chemical hazards from the workplace.Advise the corporate team on compliance with environmental and safety regulations.Analyze incident reports and metrics to recommend improvements for a safer work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.EHS certifications (CSP, CIH) preferred.Experience in global manufacturing environments is a plus.Strong proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
