Job Overview:* Specialty : Gastroenterology* Job Type : Full-time, 24-hour call coverage (7 AM - 7 AM)* Start Date : January 1, 2025* Location : Carlisle, PARequirements:* Credentials : DO or MD, Board Certified/Board Eligible* Experience : Minimum 5 years* Licensure : Pennsylvania state license (IMLC accepted)* Certifications : ACLS, BLS* ERCP : Preferred* DEA : RequiredResponsibilities:* Coverage : Hospital call, consults, procedures, and rounding* Call : 24-hour call, 5-10 admissions daily, rounding required (1-2 hours/day)* Work Solo : Yes* Patient Mix : 100% adult, no paediatric cases* Procedures : Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP (preferred), PEGs* Support : Midlevel APP for inpatient services, consults, and rounding* Shifts : Minimum 7 days/month required* Travel : Mileage, airfare, lodging, rental car, and fuel coveredAdditional Information:* EMR : Epic* Privileges : Full privileges (60 days to credential)* Anaesthesiologist support : On staff for sedation
