Position Basics
The Warehouse Technician is tasked with cleaning, repairing, troubleshooting, moving, disassembling, reassembling, and preparing gaming, amusement, and related equipment for field deployment or decommissioning in accordance with Accel Entertainment and Illinois Gaming Board specifications. This work will be performed primarily in a climate-controlled warehouse under the direction of a warehouse manager.

Position Basics
- Starting Pay: $20-22+/hour based on experience
- Day Shift, Monday-Friday

The Warehouse Technician is tasked with cleaning, repairing, troubleshooting, moving, disassembling, reassembling, and preparing gaming, amusement, and related equipment for field deployment or decommissioning in accordance with Accel Entertainment and Illinois Gaming Board specifications. This work will be performed primarily in a climate-controlled warehouse under the direction of a warehouse manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Move Video Gaming Terminals (slot machines), Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, Amusement Devices, and associated equipment between transport trucks, warehouse storage, and equipment preparation areas
- Disassemble obsolete or damaged equipment, then test and clean removed parts
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, clean, and perform repairs on electronic gaming devices, Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, Amusement Equipment, machine parts, and associated equipment
- Install and remove locks on video gaming terminals, Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, and Amusement Devices
- Identify and communicate inventory needs for equipment to ensure minimal downtime and quick turnaround of product
- Observe all safety regulations and reports unsafe conditions to management
- Follow all department, company, and state policies and procedures
- 2 years of electronic technical training preferred
- 2 years of slot technician/video gaming terminal, ATM, or amusement equipment experience, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment preferred
- Must demonstrate an ability to understand basic electronic theory and mechanics
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and instruments
- Able to obtain forklift certification and use non-powered dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
- Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler's License from the Illinois Gaming Board
- Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including use of a keyboard
- Frequently required to lift/push weights up to 1100 pounds
- Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
- Exposure to hot and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
