Come join our team at MAHLE! #StrongerTogetherSummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupports the daily operations of Planned Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, Corrective, Maintenance, and Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance standards while working with teams, focus priority, and plant directives.Monitors, repairs, and maintains production equipment to ensure continuous production (mechanical or electrical repair).
Performs advanced troubleshooting, problem solving, and general repairs. Provides standard solutions focusing on complex, often ambiguous, maintenance issues.Reviews equipment instructions, blueprints, electrical, and pneumatic schematics to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem, and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or re-engineering of parts or subassemblies.Works with operators and support production and transfer skills to other technicians.Assists with root cause analysis for 5 Why’s, Change Management, Incident Management, and Non-Conformances to identify reasons for incident causes.Accurately and fully completes all regulatory and compliance related documentation and procedures.Work with teams to fabricate machine parts as needed and responsible for shop cleaning and 5S.Ensures completion of work orders as scheduled and document in MAHLE system (SAP front end) in a timely manner.Prepare maintenance work orders and ensure compliance with Preventive Maintenance programs.Participates in work groups or team activities related to plant performance improvement to achieve business objectives of safety, productivity, customer service, quality, cost, and environmental protection.Assists Engineering to modify sketches or computer-generated designs of machine components such as hydraulic system and drive mechanism.Maintain clean, organized, safe working environment with equipment and materials located in proper locations in accordance with 5S standards inside and outside of facility.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required, Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.3+ Years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with machine repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation; experience with hydraulic & pneumatic systems.Strong knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen Bradly controls is necessary. Experience with advanced PLC, and CNC repair required.Ability to convert Imperial and Metric temperatures.Knowledge of volumes and pressures as used in molding operations.Understanding of logic and schematic prints.
