It’s an exciting time at McNeilus and seeking a Senior Product Specialist to join our team. The Senior Product Specialist ensures McNeilus’ leading products and option content can be accurately configured, priced, and quoted by sales and built by production. The position requires the individual to work cross-functionally with product management, sales, dealer representatives, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, and finance and requires someone who enjoys attention to detail, writing code, and applying logic. The role also requires support of McNeilus’ nationwide dealer network through training and, when appropriate, leading configuration projects.

YOUR IMPACT:

Ensure the Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) system and product configurations remain updated and aligned with the cross-functional team.

Expert knowledge of product attributes, options, and technologies within the scope of applicable products.

Strong collaborator to understand and deliver against requirements established by senior team members.

Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to orchestrate compelling messages and tools related to projects/training that resonate with internal and external audiences, as required.

Partner with the Product Management Team to assist with training, focusing on the sales ordering system.

Ability to learn internal systems and processes; understand CPQ and its interaction with the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, JD Edwards (JDE); understand the Change Notice (CN) process and its interaction with SmarTeam, a product data management (PDM) application.

Understand cost/pricing logic and assist with pricing updates in CPQ.

Ability to apply logic for CPQ p-rule updates.

Understand Structured Query Language (SQL) for internal database development and modification.

Excellent quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills to validate assumptions and/or conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), as required on projects.

Prioritize and respond to digital management inquiries to support the organization to meet customer requests.

Lead configuration management special projects, as required.

Exhibit professional tenacity to deliver results, while modeling People First Principles in all interactions.

Comfortable with ambiguity, can remain agile to navigate organizational obstacles to accomplish objectives.

Remain flexible to meet evolving business demands, as needed, within functional scope.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

A minimum of five (5) years of related experience

Pay Range:

$82,000.00 - $132,800.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
