Trane Technologies is seeking a talented and creative Motion Designer to join our rapidly growing team of creatives. As a Motion Designer, you will report to the Senior Video Producer and primarily focus on bringing motion into UX/UI designs on digital products for the Trane Technologies family of brands. You will be part of a tight-knit team of UX/UI designers, developers, and content creators, and you will work closely with a variety of stakeholders including the marketing team, product managers, customer experience, and software engineering.

Where is the work:

Hybrid: (updated 6/21/2024)

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

What you will do:

● Bring motion to UX/UI designs, enhancing user interactions and overall experience

● Design and animate for a variety of projects, including videos, digital interfaces, UX/UI layouts and promotional content

● Collaborate closely with the 3D Designer and Senior Video Producer to ensure cohesive and high-quality deliverables

● Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to project development

● Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in motion design

What you will bring:

● Proven experience as a Motion Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing both 2D and UX/UI animation work

● Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, or equivalent tools

● Strong understanding of motion design and UX/UI principles, including color theory, typography, and composition

● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take creative direction

● Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills

● Ability to effectively manage relationships and interactions with high-level stakeholders

Would me nice if you had:

● Experience with UX/UI design and animation

● Knowledge and experience with interactive animating tools such as Rive or Spline

● 3D animation experience

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $75,000-95,000

Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
