Trane Technologies is seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our rapidly growing team of creatives. As a Copywriter, you will report to the Director of Design and UX and collaborate with a tight-knit team of designers, developers, and content creators. Your role will involve crafting compelling copy for a wide range of digital products and marketing materials across multiple brands, including Trane Commercial/Residential HVAC, Thermo King, American Standard Heating and Air, RunTru by Trane, and Ameristar by American Standard. You will work closely with various stakeholders such as the marketing team, product managers, and customer experience teams to ensure that all written content aligns with brand guidelines and communicates key messages effectively.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

What you will do:

•Develop clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for digital interfaces, websites, product descriptions, presentations, and other marketing materials

•Collaborate closely with the design and development teams to ensure copy complements visual elements and enhances user experience

•Conduct research and gather insights to inform content creation and ensure messaging is aligned with brand strategy and audience needs

•Work with stakeholders to gather feedback, iterate on content, and present polished final versions for review

•In collaboration with team members, craft clear and engaging copy for UX research tasks, including user surveys, usability testing scripts, and A/B testing scenarios, ensuring alignment with research objectives and user experience goals

•Stay up to date with content marketing trends, SEO best practices, and digital communication strategies

What you will bring:

•A strong portfolio showcasing a range of writing for digital products, marketing campaigns, and brand communications

•Proven experience as a Copywriter in a fast-paced, creative environment

•Excellent understanding of brand storytelling, tone of voice, and the ability to adapt writing style for different audiences

•Proficiency in crafting concise, impactful copy for both web and mobile platforms.

•Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

•Excellent communication and collaboration skills

•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

•3-5 years of experience in copywriting, content strategy, or a related field.

•Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in copywriting or content creation

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $60,000-86,600

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
