Business Intelligence Analyst - EPIC Nexus Team!Role Overview:Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.

Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and data elements required or available.Provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.Produce data sets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.Identify project risks and impediments; notify management; proactively work with other members of the team to complete assigned tasks as defined by project scope and timelinesKey Qualifications:Experience working in Healthcare data and analyticsBe a go-getter and looking to growProficiency in SQL programming, relational database design principles, and Tableau / data visualization & BI toolsExperience with DB2, R & Python programming is good to haveEpic Cogito, Caboodle, and Clarity as well as Clinical Data Model certifications is good to haveCore Skills:Comfortable communicating with stakeholders within and external to MSK. Need to be able to ask probing questions to develop problem solving solutionsAble to navigate ambiguity and work independentlyUnderstands technical discussions at the 'task level' and able to break down tasks to a step-by-step processStrong proficiency in SQL programming, deep knowledge of relational database design principles, and Tableau / data visualization & BI toolsExperience with DB2, R & Python programming a plusEpic Cogito, Caboodle, and Clarity as well as Clinical Data Model certifications a plusAdditional Information:Schedule : 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday - FridayLocation : Hybrid: 3 Preset days a month at 633 Third Ave, NY, NYReporting
