Your Role:

As a

Bilingual Dispatcher , you will coordinate the daily operations of our waste collection services, ensuring efficient routing and timely service. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are essential for effectively supporting drivers, customers, and team members.

Scheduling and dispatching waste collection vehicles and drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests and routing needs.Monitoring and tracking the progress of waste collection routes to ensure timely and efficient service.Communicating with drivers throughout their shifts to provide updates, address issues, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.Maintaining detailed records of all dispatch activities, including service calls, route changes, and driver logs.Coordinating with maintenance staff to ensure vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.Handling customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely and effective solutions.Collaborating with other departments to optimize route efficiency and improve overall service delivery.Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or transportation management is a plus.Proven experience as a dispatcher, preferably in the waste management or transportation industry.Strong knowledge of local geography and road networks.Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using dispatch software and other relevant computer applications.Ability to multitask and work under pressure.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
