Job Title:
Local Tractor Trailer Truck Driver - CDL Class A

Reports To:
Warehouse Manager
Pay Range:
$25.00-28.00/ hour depending on experience
Summary : Tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver products, or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.At least two years of experience as a driver with a CDLDrives truck to destination.Has experience operating a refer.Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.Maintains electronic driver log according to I.C. regulations.Completes trailer washouts.Holds a good working relationship with the warehouse department at AAPP as well as the warehouse departments at vendors and customers places of business.

Education/Experience:Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Certificates and Licenses:CDL Class A with tanker endorsement with air.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands: The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.
