Unit: ICURatios: 1 to 1-2, 90% of the time will be 1 to 2 ratioAdditional Details
Telemetry, L/D, Emergency and Critical Care RN's will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, day one. This is a PASS/FAIL test!MUST have experience with ICP monitoring and ventricsHOLIDAY RTO WILL BE CONSIDERED, HOWEVER IT CANNOT BE GUARANTEEDFloor specific orientation: 1 day on unitCommon diagnosis / Types of patients: trauma - travelers must have this experience, neuro-strokes, head injuries, ventriculostomies, ICP monitoringAdditional Notes: candidates must have 2-3 yrs in specialty, previous travel experience preferred, must know ahead of time they will work very hard on this unit, must be open to asking questions or asking for help if needed, unit is fast-paced, must be able to get along well with others, hospital has a very robust interventional radiology program, traveler friendly
