Strategic Soucing Manager

who will be Responsible for the development and implementation of sourcing initiatives. They will act as an expert resource for timely and cost-effective strategic sourcing of goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Supervises the sourcing team, including selecting, training, mentoring, developing, supervising, team building, performance evaluations, and setting developmental goals.Develops and executes strategic plans by leveraging all sourcing enablers, including requests for proposals (RFP) and negotiations, low-cost sourcing, value engineering substitution, standardization, etc., to drive operational excellence in quality, productivity, innovation, and working capital.Researches and evaluates suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history.Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonable prices, and negotiates pricing and terms with vendors for construction-related items used in new buildings and remodels.Leads end-to-end sourcing project management including but not limited to requirements scoping, request for proposal (RFP), supplier evaluation criteria, supplier communication, site visits as needed, contract negotiations and business award.Collaborates with design, construction, and facilities teams to ensure specified products are selected and delivered on time.Coordinates timing of deliveries of direct-purchase items to the job sites to ensure projects stay on schedule.Has or works with subject matter expert to understand technical knowledge of the goods/services to be purchased and verifies quantities/products quoted meet design standards and intent.Formulates policies and procedures for bid proposals and procurement of goods and services, RFP, scope of work, service and supplier agreement, etc.Creates and maintains relationships with vendors and suppliers to get the best prices and service.Communicates effectively in writing and verbally to various internal and external groups.Regular attendance and physical presence at the work site with 15% travel (including international to meet with suppliers).Sets high standards for self while maintaining company standards, policies, and procedures to ensure delivery of the ultimate moviegoing experience at all times.Maintains a professional working environment while setting a positive and professional example.Requires bending, stretching, reaching, squatting, twisting, standing, walking on flat surface and uneven surfaces, sitting, typing on a computer, speaking on the telephone, lifting, interacting with others, problem solving, and cognitive skills.What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience in purchasing and strategic sourcing or 10+ years practical experience.Able to read, analyze and interpret legal documents, specifications, business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, government regulations.Able to effectively negotiate price and contractual agreements with vendors.Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions percentage, area circumference and volume.Strong problem solving and reasoning capability.Capable of remaining calm and using good judgment in elevating situations.Supervisory/training/mentoring experience.Able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.Able to effectively present information and appropriately respond to inquiries from various entities.Able to deal with many projects in various stages and work well under tight deadlines.Able to read and interpret schematic, architectural and MEP drawings/plans.Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet research. AutoCAD, Bluebeam knowledge a plus.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Bilingual Spanish a plus.Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to exercise judgment and discretion in maintaining confidential and sensitive information.Able to operate with focus, prioritize and work on various projects and deadlines with frequent interruptions while maintaining flexibility and composure.Able to work independently and/orwith a team.Maintains a professional attitude and demeanor.
