The Driver - Cross Dock is a non touch freight position and responsible for driving tractor and trailer to transport and deliver products from the distribution center to the sales center.

What your day will look like:

Completes pre-trip and post trip inspectionsDrives tractor trailers between sales centersOperate a forkliftAssist Warehouse department with loading and unloading of trucksWhat you need to succeed:

Minimum age 21 years oldClass A Commercial Valid Driver's License required, and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policyAbility to obtain Doubles Endorsement within 30-45 days of hire date, if applicablePersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policiesRegular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the jobAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelinesAbility to maintain safety and security of Company assetsAbility to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to become forklift certifiedFrequent exposure to chemicals, noise, and frequent sitting (chemical exposure may change depending on location)Ability to provide quality managementAbility to demonstrate teamworkWillingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as requiredPerforms appropriate duties as assigned by management
