Who You Are:
You have 5+ years of API Documentation and Integration experience under your belt and are looking for your next challenge in a hyper-growth, fast-paced, industry disrupting, SaaS company. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for partners integrating with our platform, ensuring seamless technical collaboration and exceptional documentation support.

What You'll Do:Create, update, and maintain comprehensive API documentation, including guides, reference materials, integration manuals, and sample code.Ensure that documentation is clear, accurate, and accessible to developers of all skill levels.Collaborate with internal engineering teams to gather and distill complex technical information into user-friendly resources.Act as a primary technical resource for partners, guiding them through integration processes and troubleshooting issues as they build against our APIs and SDKs.Translate technical information into clear, non-technical terms for partners and vice versa, ensuring seamless communication between teams.Provide hands-on support (boots on the ground) during partner onboarding and integration.Develop tailored integration solutions, FAQs, and best practices to enhance partner success.Maintain a feedback loop with partners to continuously improve the API documentation and integration experience.Set up and manage environments for partners to test and develop their integrations, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed.Test APIs and SDKs internally, validating functionality and performance before releasing updates to partners.Collaborate on automating onboarding, troubleshooting, and other processes via the SDK.Act as a bridge between the engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for partner needs.Provide input into API design based on partner feedback and integration challenges.Continuously monitor and update API documentation based on new features, updates, or improvements to our platform.Identify opportunities to streamline the integration process and improve partner satisfaction.Stay current with industry best practices and trends in API documentation and integration strategies.Lead efforts to automate key parts of the partner onboarding process, troubleshooting workflows, and API interaction on the SDK side.Ensure smooth integration processes by standardizing API and SDK documentation based on industry standards (JSON, XML, Swagger, Postman, Python).What You Have:
Proven experience in writing and managing API documentation.Experience working with external partners, developers, or customers in a technical support capacity (diagnosing, debugging, and fixing API issues).Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and other API-related technologies and best practices.Familiarity with data concepts like SFTP, JSON, XML.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.Familiarity with developer tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and API documentation platforms (e.g. Swagger, Postman).Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a remote environment.[Preferred] Experience in the SaaS or mortgage industry.[Preferred] Background in software development or a technical degree.[Preferred] Familiarity with developer communities and partner ecosystems.Why join Polly?
