Responsible for the development of creative concepts across owned and paid marketing channels, including but not limited to: print, digital, OOH, brand identity, packaging, retail, app, web and corporate presentations across the organization of the Iowa Wolves.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform these essential functions: Responsible for design conception and layout for all graphic artwork for assigned areas. Ensures that all assets consistently support brand guidelines & the creative brief. Handles all requests pertaining to team and partnership logo applications. Develops and executes visual ideas that fully support the brand and objectives from a marketing or creative brief and is able to clearly articulate the creative vision. Provides design elements and technical instructions to external partners for print layout, production and assembly as needed. Acts as a brand ambassador across the organization. Builds and maintain strong working relationships across all departments in the organization. Keeps up to date on the latest industry trends, technology, software and/or equipment that can improve production and quality of their creative work. Ensures efficient, high quality & timely production of all creative assets. Works within project management tools to track work and stakeholder feedback. Able to review, give and solicit feedback from other designers & stakeholders to continually raise the bar and iterate on feedback. Other Duties

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other:

Strong written and interpersonal skills required. Self-starter with a high standard for creative work. Innovative, and constantly look for ways to improve & push the work. Works well on a team and independently. Thrives tackling multiple projects at once. Able to work successfully with cross-functional partners. Computer skills required: experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.). Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is required. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Experience:

Minimum two (2) years of experience working in a creative/graphic design role, or agency work is preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Communications or related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility, if any:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. Office hours are typically Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00PM. Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer and telephone. Staff will frequently ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the arena both on event days and non-event days. Staff may occasionally move objects weighing up to 15 pounds.

Travel

Position may require travel to external events.
