Call hours are 1630-0630 Mon-Fri and 24hrs Sat-SunDuration: 13-weeksDepartment Description: General nuclear med studies (bones, renals, gastric emptying, GI bleeds, HIDAs, Thyroid uptake/scan, parathyroids, VQ perfusions), cardiac and EPT/CTDaily Caseload: 15-18Rooms: 4 & PET/CTAges: All ages. Adolescents-GeriatricsJob duties: Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. Prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate doses to be administered by radiologists. Subject patients to radiation.Job Requirements

General Skills: IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, PACSNuclear Med Procedure Experience: Cardiac, bone scan, brain scan, lung scan, renal flow, thyroid studies, SPECT, myocardialExperience: Min 2 years of Nuc Med Tech experience. Independent work is required. Traveler must be experienced and proficient.EPIC CLASS: RADIOLOGY CT ONLINE ON UNITScrub color: Pewter GreyVACCINE INFO: The Flu vaccine is required during flu season (Oct 1st - Mar 31st).Seasoned travelers preferred.
