Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (preferred)
Must-Have: EPIC experience (accelerated class or 2-day class attendance required)
Job Description: - Fast-paced emergency department with 65,000 visits annually. - The department has 36 beds, including 8 express care beds. - Designated as a Magnet Level II Trauma Center. - The ER sees patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. - The center is a comprehensive stroke center with 24/7 interventional cardiology. - Candidates must be smoke/nicotine-free. - COVID-19 vaccine is required; only medical/religious exemptions accepted. - Flu vaccine is required during flu season; exemptions must comply with CMS guidelines. - Must be willing to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule and some holidays. - On-call may be required for specific areas such as IR, Cath Lab. - Floating may be required, adhering to client policies and Joint Commission standards. - Orientation includes up to 7 hours of non-billable modules. Orientation duration is 16 hours.
