Registered Nurse position available for Cardiac Stepdown unit. The assignment is for 13 weeks with 3x12 nights shift. 5 North/Step-down is a 20-bed (all private room) unit with a ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on staffing. Patients range from pulmonary, cardiac, neuro, GI, and stable surgery patients with a risk of becoming unstable. Critical drips administered include Amiodarone, Esmolol, Insulin, Lasix, Cardizem, and Nitroglycerin. Adult med-surg, telemetry, and step-down patients are cared for based on bed availability.
