Master Planner , and be at the heart of ensuring seamless operations that exceed customer expectations.What You'll Do
As our
Master Planner , you'll be the driving force behind effective planning and scheduling processes, ensuring the optimal balance between customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:Order Management : Plan and schedule customer orders or replenishment programs, ensuring accurate ship dates based on material and capacity availability.Scheduling Excellence : Analyze and adjust schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery with minimal downtime.Inventory Control : Maintain customer-managed inventories and replenishment programs while working closely with procurement to optimize material availability.Collaboration : Lead daily "Order Status" meetings with operations, quality, planning, and customer care representatives.Continuous Improvement : Develop or follow standard work procedures, eliminate waste, and improve throughput.What You Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need a mix of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and a passion for teamwork:Basic Qualifications :Education : BS in Business Management, Industrial Management/Engineering, or 5+ years of equivalent experience in supply chain/materials management.Experience : At least 5 years in planning/scheduling within a manufacturing environment.Technical Proficiency : ERP/MRP system expertise and strong Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced).Preferred Skills :APICS Certification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.Familiarity with the flexible packaging industry is advantageous.Interpersonal Skills :Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to thrive independently and within a team, driving projects to completion.Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing time-sensitive tasks with precision.Why Join Oliver Healthcare Packaging?
