Skylift has an immediate opening in our Assembly Department. This position will build specialty easement machines and upfit insulated articulating booms on large truck chassis. To be successful, the right candidate should possess skills as a diesel mechanic, have strong hydraulic knowledge, and/or prior experience working on large machines or heavy-duty equipment.

Requirements
Skilled in mechanics with the ability to use hand tools and power tools.Preferred mechanical assembly or machine building experience.Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.Strategic thinking and troubleshooting experience are a must.Minimum of 2 to 3 years in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read prints and schematics.High School diploma or equivalent.Certification from a technical schooling is a plus.Forklift experience is helpful.Ability to lift 50lbs.Job Responsibilities
Manufactures products to a high quality of standards utilizing hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and fastening equipment.Position and align components for assembly: manually or using hoists/cranes.Fasten, install piping, fixtures, hydraulics, wiring and electrical components.Perform hand and automatic assembly operations on components, sub-assemblies, trucks and finished assemblies.Diagnose malfunctioning systems, machinery and componentsAligns, moves, dismantles, assembles, and constructs foundation for machineryComplete equipment testing and inspections.Work as a team to assemble the machines.Perform repetitive tasks and stand for an extended period.
Schedule
Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts, 6a to 4:30p. Overtime as needed on Fridays.
