Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)

to join their team.

Office Locations: Paoli & King of Prussia, PA (Primary work location - Paoli)Office Based Position (No Hospital Coverage Requirements)OB 50-60% / GYN 40-50%Provider Team: 6 OB/GYN Physicians, 2 Nurse PractitionersThe

Nurse Practitioner

performs physical examinations, confers with patients in person and by phone/electronically, collaborates with others in the department to ensure a smooth flow of patient care consistent with established quality indicators and participates in the overall coordination of patient care. Other job duties include but are not limited to:

Practices under the standard procedure established for the Nurse Practitioner role consistent with Company policy and in accordance with all legal requirementsPerforms IUD & Nexplanon insertions/removals, Endometrial Biopsies, works with pessaries - education & maintenance; may perform colposcopies.Conducts age-appropriate assessments of patients, including history taking and physical examination consistent with department protocol.Performs assessment/data collection in an on-going systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive status, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacyConsults with supervising physician or other clinicians as dictated by patient need and assessment findings.Participates with physicians and other clinicians in the department to assure effective patient care consistent with quality indicators for patients cared for in the designated service.Reviews medical record for follow up or ordering of diagnostic studies under established protocols.Establishes effective working relationships with members of the health care team, patients, and families.Demonstrates knowledge of and applies safety principles as identified by the practice.Performs efficiently in emergency situations following established protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate persons, and documenting events.Demonstrates knowledge of legal issues, including patient confidentiality and risk management in all aspects of patient care and unit functioning.Demonstrates a service philosophy in all interactions with patients, families, and all members of the health care team.Demonstrates proficiency in the use of computers and telecommunication modalities to document, track and convey information.Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted, Pennsylvania CRNP Medical License, Prescriptive Authority, & DEAMinimum 1 year experience in the role of Women's Health CRNP (non-student role) in a high volume OB/GYN office with approximately 25-30 patients per day required.Procedural experience including IUD & Nexplonon insertions and removals and endometrial biopsies.Eligible to participate in state programs including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid.Part-Time Benefits:
