JOB SUMMARY:

This role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive strategic communications plans to enhance the organization's reputation and align with business goals. Responsibilities include overseeing integrated communications strategies, managing metrics and reporting, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure message consistency and effectiveness. The position demands strong leadership, advanced communication skills, and proficiency in digital tools and platforms.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop strategic communications plans - from research and strategy to budget and metrics.Oversee the implementation of integrated communications strategies including advertising, digital media, public relations, public affairs, and marketing.Identify metrics for project, develop reporting plan and schedules, and manage ongoing reporting and analysis.Collaborate with multiple stakeholders - other departments, consultants, etc. - to align priorities and resources for business and organizational success.Coordinate the development and distribution of impactful, consistent messages that extend the positive reputation of NCRR.REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Strong writing and communication skills.Proficiency in research and media outreach.Superior presentation and relationship management skills.Self-starter with passion for integrated communications.Ability to work effectively as part of both large and small teams.Advanced knowledge of the capabilities of social media platforms.Proficiency in the Macintosh OS as well as Microsoft 365 Platform.Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Meltwater, and the advertising platforms on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.Demonstrate drive, discipline, mastery, excellence, and leadership and seek opportunities to improve those qualities.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Advertising, Journalism, English, or a related field.No less than 8 years of advertising, public relations, media buying and/or marketing experience, including experience with direct account leadership.Experience in developing strategic communication plans, including team coordination, creative and tactical execution, measurement and budget management.Experience in leading teams or extensive experience in a practice area (e.g. public relations, public affairs, etc.)Experience writing talking points, statements, and media relations materialsExperience supervising employees.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum overnight travel, up to 1-2 days per month.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This work is predominantly conducted in an office setting.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
