Chief Financial Officer:A prominent full-service Real Estate Investment, Development, and Property Management Firm in Long Beach, California is looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer. With a large and diverse portfolio of Commercial and Residential properties across multiple regions of the United States, the company is committed to continuing its long legacy of excellence.We are seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to join their team and drive financial performance and organizational growth. The CFO will oversee the financial strategy and operations of the company, ensuring optimal performance, regulatory compliance, and long-term growth. This executive role requires expertise in real estate financial management, tax planning, and strategic forecasting. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with a proven track record in complex transactions, capital management, and tax strategies.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the company's financial strategy to align with company objectives.Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on financial planning, budgeting, and performance metrics.Collaborate with the executive team to identify growth opportunities, manage risks, and enhance profitability.Oversee all accounting, finance, and treasury functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.Monitor and optimize capital structure, debt management, and investment opportunities.Analyze and assess financial models for property acquisitions, developments, and dispositionsDrive financial due diligence for real estate transactions, including underwriting and risk analysis.Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and financial stakeholders.Lead the company's tax planning and compliance efforts to minimize liability and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.Provide strategic guidance on tax implications for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and developments.Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors as needed.Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance finance and accounting team.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.MBA/CPA preferred.10 years of experience in senior financial roles within the real estate industry.Extensive knowledge of real estate transactions, tax laws, and compliance requirements.Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and capital markets.Strong understanding of property management systems of reporting tools.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to stakeholders.
