Manages employee relations process including conducting investigations and researching employee complaints in support of the Advice and Counsel Center. Advises and recommends solutions and options to Site HR in support of resolving employee relations issues.
Responsibilities:
Manages employee relations process for assigned cases ensuring consistency with investigation practices and resolution of complaints across the health system.
Collaborates with Site HR and department managers in advising and recommending employee relations solutions.
Conducts and/or collaborates with Site HR to conduct thorough, documented investigations in areas within the scope of the ACC, as assigned and within established timeframes.
Conducts interviews with all parties and documents conversations in a clear and concise manner. Gathers and reviews all necessary evidence in support of case investigation. Ensures all documentation is accurate and complete.
Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of a final investigative report including analysis and recommended course of action.
Prepares and maintains regular reports utilizing ACC data regarding investigations.
Works with Site HR and Corporate HR departments to determine most appropriate way to operationalize solutions.
Applies knowledge of Labor laws, union contracts, federal, state and local laws in the application of complaint resolution.
Collaborates with Legal and Compliance teams to resolve all complaints, including Ethics Point complaints, as necessary.
Performs related duties, as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field, required. JD preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible experience in Labor and Employee Relations, required.
Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution; solid writing, interpersonal and problem solving skills, required.
Working knowledge of HR Systems including PeopleSoft and Kronos, required.
Ability to interpret contracts, Federal, State and Local laws (DOL, OSHA, EEO, etc.) and apply to employee issues.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
The salary range for this position is $35-$35/hour
