We have an outstanding career opportunity for aNetwork Administrator to join a leading Company located in the Huntsville, AL surrounding area.
U.S. Citizenship is required.

The successful candidate should thoroughly know network architecture, design, implementation, and support. The candidate must be capable of working in both a team environment on enterprise projects and be capable of working independently to resolve technical issues. Knowledge of Tactical networks and communication systems is beneficial.
Job Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain LAN and WAN system hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) using primarily Cisco hardware.
Design, maintain, and document network solutions.
Strong knowledge of network protocols.
Secure networks by developing network access controls and policies that align with DISA STIGs.
Ensure system security in compliance with Army and customer policies.
Understand network security devices and their output.
Ensure reliable backup and recovery from circuit and hardware outages.
Provides network performance statistics, reports and recommendations for network enhancements.
Apply firmware and software patches as required to hardware.
Perform other hardware and software tasks as assigned.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years related experience.
Certifications: Must hold current CCNA or higher
Must have Security+, comparable certificate, or ability to achieve 8570/8140 compliance within 60 days of hiring.
Cisco IOS installation, maintenance, and STIG management as required for switching, routing, and firewall environments at advanced configuration and troubleshooting skill levels.
Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Cisco DNA Center experience desirable.
Ability to obtain and maintain a full Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance is preferred.
