We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team in supporting a QTS data center role in Spotsylvania. The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting site-specific safety programs. This role involves working closely with the onsite team, owners, and additional contractors to conduct safety training sessions.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement site-specific safety programs.
Review and develop work plans.
Coordinate Job site hazard analysis program.
Conduct and document all safety inspections.
Conduct and document all project safety training.
Review and finalize all safety submittals.
Interact with subcontractors and the owner's representatives.
Essential Skills
5 years of experience in safety management or a CHST degree.
OSHA 30 Certification.
First Aid Certification.
CPR Certification.
AED Certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in safety procedures and training development.
Knowledge of construction safety.
Willingness to relocate for project needs.
Work Environment
The position is onsite in Fredericksburg, supporting a QTS data center. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including the onsite team, owners, and contractors. Candidates should be prepared to work in a dynamic and evolving environment, with ample opportunities for advancement in the growing market.
