Position Summary:
COTA's ITS Product Analyst is the lead Subject Matter Expert on the Trapeze and Vontas product suites ensuring the applications are configured to meet COTA's operational requirements along with educating users on new features and functionality. Other responsibilities include maintaining and testing in-vehicle systems such as mobile computers, vehicle location hardware at various COTA owned facilities.
Performs other duties in alignment with the 2019 - 2024 COTA Strategic Plan and in support of the organization's vision to Move Every Life Forward.
This Position is Responsible For:
Lead Subject Matter Expert for the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Suite of products including Trapeze OPS, PASS, COM, VIEWPOINT, and FX, along with Vontas, OnRoute, Onsite and OnBoard
Provides application support, technical support, troubleshooting, product/application configuration, testing & approval, teaching, coaching and assisting COTA staff in all capacities for ITS products
Partners with Operations to develop and set application performance metric goals and monitor software functionality in support of Operations tasks
Monitors the production level performance of the hardware components (including Motorola radios, Mobile Computers, ) within the organization's fleet of vehicles as well as additional ITS systems positioned for implementation
Develops documentation to administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the operability of the organization's ITS suite of products and their non-server related components
At Minimum You'll Need:
Requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) years IT support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of Intelligent Transportation operating systems/associated hardware is preferred
Knowledge and experience with SQL, Crystal, or other dB reporting tools a plus
Must be proficient in MS Office
