The Sunshine House is much more than simply daycare for children 6 weeks to 12-years-old. We help children build a solid educational and social foundation -- with all the fun of childhood mixed in! We are one of the largest early education and childcare companies in the United States, operating more than 100 schools in 8 states. Our schools exude a comforting, family feeling, and are led by passionate, supportive early childhood professionals!!
Salary range: $55,000-$58,000 per year , based on experience, education and credentials. Quarterly bonus potential!
Daycare Director Responsibilities:Manage daily operations of childcare school in accordance with state licensing and company policies, including administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility.Hire, engage, and develop a supportive team of caregivers and educators.Partner with families to provide the best care and education for their children.Oversee the implementation of our curriculum, including developmentally appropriate play and classroom environments.Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, and the community.RequirementsLevel III Administrator qualified.Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.Previous management experience at a NC licensed childcare center.Extensive knowledge of childcare management and early education.Administrator knowledge of Meck PreK programBenefitsBlue Cross/Blue Shield medical, dental & vision insurancePaid vacation, holiday and sick leaveMonday-Friday schedule, no nights or weekends!Free childcare tuition95% FREE tuition for CDA, associate's, bachelor's or master's programsCareer advancement and growth opportunitiesAnd much moreThe Sunshine House is an equal opportunity employer.
