All Around Children is seeking a qualified and experienced Childcare Center Director to join our team in providing exceptional care and education to young children at a high quality preschool and childcare program located at 3271 East 55th St., Cleveland OH 44127.

Job Summary
Potential candidates should have previous Childcare Center Director and program experience and a minimum of 3 years in a child care center. This individual needs to be passionate abut early childhood, energetic, organized, a problem solver, team builder, organized and possesses great communication and customer service to parents as well as have a great love for children.
Duties/Responsibilities
Supervising and managing all aspects of center operations, including staff, curriculum, enrollment and tuition including CACFP food paperwork and reportsEnsuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to childcare centersDeveloping and implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for children, families, and staffCreating and maintaining positive relationships with families and the communityCollaborate with community organizations and agencies to enhance the center's impact and reachLeading staff meetings and providing ongoing training and support to teachers and support staffCollaborating with other members of the leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans for the centerMonitoring and documenting student progress, assessing teaching strategies, and implementing changes as neededImplement best practices in early childhood education, including curriculum development, assessment, and staff training and developmentRequirements
Must hold a CDA (minimum) AA or higher degree in early childhood education or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role in a childcare centerCareer Pathways Level (CPL) 3 certificationPrior Childcare Director/Assistant Director experience necessaryKnowledge of Step Up to Quality (SUTQ)Knowledge of ODJFS licensing rulesStrong knowledge of early childhood development and education theory and practiceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with families and staffStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamAbility to manage a budget and ensure financial accountabilityKnowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to childcare centersWorking knowledge of MS Office and ExcelKnowledge of ProCare is a plusBenefits
