We're on the lookout for a Product Marketing Manager to lead our growth efforts for Minecraft Marketplace and our burgeoning online experiences that power our post-sale monetization offerings including:

Marketplace

Own the end-to-end strategy for our partner-driven content store. Will drive new features & offers and integrate into larger campaigns, while sustaining growth.

Multiplayer & Servers:

Lead promotion and positioning around the variety of online experiences in Minecraft.

Creator Tools:

Team up with our creator team to bring new capabilities to our professional and hobbyist Minecraft creators.

The selected candidate will have a proven track record of developing go-to-market strategy based on consumer insights, delivering compelling storytelling, driving full-funnel consumer marketing strategies, and a true passion for Minecraft and the wider entertainment industry. You will be adept at working across a large and highly complex organization with multiple stakeholders to deliver campaigns on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

You will influence the long-term vision for multiple products with the Minecraft franchise and create cross-departmental partnerships to impact the product roadmap. You’ll also influence senior partners to deliver the right product experience.

You will collaborate with others to develop a value proposition aligned with player goals, and drive the development of a messaging and positioning framework. You’ll also build a global bill of materials.

You will define go-to-market strategies across mutliple campaigns annually, as well as identify target players and execute strategy for player journeys. You will also contribute on strategic partnerships.

You will facilitate the execution of marketing plans across functions, and will employ strategies across the market experience to meet revenue goals. You’ll also develop partnerships to deliver player value, and drive programs across teams to meet organizational goals.

You will manage product marketing program execution planning and implementation across internal teams, as well as help develop program recommendations. You’ll also identify solutions that address inefficiencies, and collaborate with Integrated Marketing to identify the business objectives a program can support.

You will identify and analyze marketing and media KPIs, and collaborate with business analysis teams to share insights that will advance business impact. You’ll also recommend actions to executive leaders based on those results, as well as use organic and paid media performance data to develop insights and make improvement recommendations.

You will partner with regional teams, external publishing partners, and external franchise partners to review, feedback, and approve co-marketing opportunities, campaign launches, creative executions, and ensure the franchise is represented accurately.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business

OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience.

Solid communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across global timezones and be able to represent creative and strategic work.

Ability to get work done within a large and complex organization involving multiple stakeholders.

A drive for results, with a proven track record, often delivering under tight deadlines.

Budget management experience and the ability to manage large scale budgets across multiple products and timelines.

Experience developing campaigns for video games or a similar consumer entertainment field.

Preference for candidates who value comradery and have insatiable curiosity.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
