Children's Trust, operating under the Executive Office of Education, is dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect in Massachusetts. ABOUT THE POSITION The Employee Experience Manager will play a pivotal role, managing organization-wide employee experience initiatives, building alignment and consistency across the organization that promotes a positive employee experience and positive culture. The role will collaborate across the organization to identify opportunities for improvement, design and execute employee engagement initiatives that foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Employee Experience Manager will serve as a champion for our employees, ensuring that their voices are heard and that their needs are met. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving employee engagement initiatives, as well as a deep understanding of best practices in employee experience and workplace culture. With a focus on employee engagement, work environment, and staff job satisfaction, the Manager of Staff Experience can improve the way employees interact with the agency and maximize their potential within it. The Manager will consistently be observing how the organization operates and seeks ways to improve the procedures and processes that impact employees. As a result, they will bring innovative ideas about how to enhance the workplace environment and support employee well-being. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Serve as a cross-functional leader and connective tissue between teams, ensuring ongoing communication, collaboration, and consistency, centering our commitment to DEIB in all work streams. • Recommend, schedule, and/or provide areas for additional upskilling, training, and professional development to foster manager and employee growth and implement initiatives to develop leadership skills. Track and monitor mandatory training completion. • Lead the organization's efforts to create a positive culture and a safe, supportive work environment reflecting organizational values that encourage collaboration across departments, celebrate innovation, and inspire employees. Provide leadership to staff committees including FUN Committee. • Design and implement employee experience strategies that support agency priorities and keep lines of communication open between teams, considering hybrid work environment and tools and technology for internal collaboration. • Support DEIB Committee and EOE DEIB working group to develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy that aligns with CT’s strategic goals and objectives; ensure that CT's long-term plans are inspired by an equity lens, and fully reflect the organization's equity identity and focus on inclusion. • Create, conduct and analyze employee surveys and monitor other employee metrics (exit interviews, retention data, etc.) to understand holistic organizational needs and create action plans to address employee concerns and enhance engagement. • Serve as a resource for employees and managers, providing coaching and guidance in areas of interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, effective communication, professionalism, DEIB, expectation setting, accountability, personal development, etc. • Responsible for CT onboarding and off boarding employees including orientation, exit interviews, checklists, and collaboration with EOE IT and HR, etc. • In collaboration with EOE HR and hiring managers, establish, implement, and monitor consistent agency wide practices regarding creating job descriptions, updating forms, staff transitions, hiring practices, interviews, recruitment, etc. • In partnership with supervisors, support staff performance by helping to create consistent accountability measures and evaluation practices including establishing duties, goals and feedback aligned to agency strategy and mission. • Collaborate with leadership to foster a culture of open communication and trust, aid in developing agendas and materials for all staff meetings and other touch points as needed. • Monitor and track organization’s full staffing snapshot/dashboard including consultants and contractors to project payroll, maintain org chart and analyze job duties, gaps, and functions across the agency to ensure optimal efficiency, workflow, growth, capacity, etc. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Related work experience: • 3-5 years of experience in employee engagement initiatives with positive demonstrated results in a hybrid work environment. • Significant experience in advancing DEIB principles and working with organizations to manifest these values in the workplace. • Exceptional relationship building skills with a track record of cultivating strong working relationships across staff at all levels of an organization, with a range of beliefs and identities. • Expertise in conceptualizing, developing, implementing, and tracking employee experience programs quality, performance, outcomes, and impact. • Professionalism, with the ability to manage conflict, lead challenging conversations, sensitive information, and complex / divergent interests. Substitutions: I. A certificate in a relevant or related field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience. II. A Bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for two (2) years of the required experience. III. A Graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for three (3) years of the required experience. IV.
