Power Platform Developer III
with SharePoint development experience to support a large federal Information Technology (IT) organization. The
Power Platform Developer III
will develop tools, templates, applications, and sites using Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI, PowerApps, and SharePoint Online. This is a highly visible position and will require a self-motivated, well-versed, and knowledgeable candidate to support the organization.

Responsibilities
Perform as Power Platform developer supporting the Program Management Office.
Collaborate with the customer to collect requirements and create designs for the development of Microsoft O365 web-based applications.
Assist Project Managers and customers to create detailed project plans outlining functional requirements, application architecture diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, and work breakdown structures.
Document the design and functionality of web-based applications for planning and reporting purposes.
Develop and enhance SharePoint web applications, websites, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts.
Develop PowerApps to support process reengineering and automation efforts.
Create Power BI dashboards and interactive reports with visual analytics using Microsoft Power Platform.
Ensure all work adheres to sound Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.
Perform User Access Management based on the federal security requirements.
Identify and correct security vulnerabilities in applications.
Document and resolve any security findings in compliance with best practices.
Provide operational support for deployed products, including troubleshooting and defect resolution.
Engage directly with customers and program staff to address technical matters and gather feedback.
Respond to requests for information and documentation during internal system reviews and audits.
Work effectively within a small application development team environment, offering feedback and guidance to colleagues.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and solutions.
Conduct training sessions for customers on SharePoint and Power Platform applications.
Develop comprehensive user documentation for all newly developed applications.
Stay updated on the latest Microsoft technologies and recommended best practices to enhance application development support.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar degree.
5 years’ experience supporting government projects.
3 years’ experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
2 years’ experience in supporting project management and cost tracking for projects.
2 years’ experience in developing Power Platform and SharePoint tools to enhance budget formulation and execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication with a commitment to high-quality output.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Experience with management information systems (e.g., financial, accounting, budget, purchasing, etc.).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

SharePoint Online modern site administration and development.
Application development using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and toolchain with React and Fluent UI.
PowerShell and PnP. PowerShell module.
Azure DevOps or other source code control service.
Power Automate workflows using SharePoint Online.
Microsoft Project Online and Jira.
Managed metadata and Term Store.
Complex form development using validation rules.
SPFx development using Microsoft Graph.
Power BI management and report creation.
Form Customizers, App Customizers, Field Customizers, and Command Sets.
JSON formatting of list views and columns.
Developing accessible user interfaces meeting Federal (Section 508) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Use of React Hook Form or other form validation library.
Advanced permission management, e.g., item level unique permissions.
Section 508 compliance and the creation of 508 compliant documents.
Ability to manage large, complex spreadsheets and database tools.
Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
