Volt is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer for our client in Wichita, KS. Our client is a global leader in instruments and power solutions for the aerospace industry.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will:Design avionics, power electronics and battery systems interfacing within high-performance and safety-critical systems.Experience the entire product lifecycle, from concept and requirements, through design, implementation, testing and certification, and field applicationDesign and implement analog front-end circuits, including amplifiers, ADC/DAC interfaces, and filtering stages to enable accurate signal processing for a range of instrumentationResearch new components, technologies, and methods to incorporate into new and existing designsCoordinate with other functional teams, including layout, mechanical, software, and certification engineersDesign and integrate manufacturing tools for new products, as needed
This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineeringMinimum 5 years in analog or DC to DC design, particularly suited to precision instrumentation, signal conditioning, and integrated circuit applicationsProficiency with design and simulation tools (PADS, LTSpice, or similar schematic capture)Solid understanding of signal integrity, impedance matching, and EMI/EMC design practices such as RTCA DO-160 or MIL-STD-810/461
Salary is between $90-135 per year plus relocation assistance!
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
