Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager for our client in Raleigh, NC 27612. This is a Direct Hire opportunity offering a HYBRID schedule and strong benefits. The Accounting Manager is responsible for financial management, reporting, accounting, tax, risk management and estate planning. Partners with the Managing Partner to determine strategic goals and priorities. Responsible for building and managing the infrastructure and operations of the Family Office. This role is for a strategic and proactive leader with strong relationship management and advisory skills and will instill the confidence and credibility needed to become a trusted advisor to the Managing Partner.

Responsibilities:

Establishes and oversees accounting and financial records for numerous entities including individual family members, investment partnerships/LLCs, trusts, corporations, and other special purpose entities.Supports production of internal investment documents and communicates key findings and recommendations.Generates all monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and prepares complimentary reports needed to complete reporting package.  Prepares several standalone reports (bi-weekly cashflows, real estate related schedules, projects)Responsible for general ledger maintenance as needed (chart of accounts maintenance, ledger entries, etc.) Reviews General Ledgers for accuracy.Maintains and oversees books, records and schedules of investments and ledgers for several holdings.Reviews monthly bank reconciliations.Leads the development, delivery, and management of financial reporting.Responsible for the compilation and reporting of budgets, projections, and analyses.Records complex journal entries.Creates and maintains an accounting manual using best practices as they relate to family office operations.Maintains document files for all family office entities.Submits two semi-monthly payrolls in ADP, uploads journal entries and invoices.Cost tracking of a diverse collection of capital improvement and operations projects.Optimizes tax planning.  Spearheads preparation and information gathering for annual tax filings.Conducts investment analysis, participates in deal structuring.Coordinates due diligence execution and supports transaction negotiations.Interfaces with internal and external parties as needed.Schedules accounting and tax engagements and monitors timelines for all deliverables.Supports production of internal investment documents and communicates key findings and recommendations.Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.CPA (REQUIRED)7+ years’ experience relevant experiencePublic Accounting experience desiredQuickBooks experience REQUIREDComfortable with MS OfficeUnderstands and can manage complex financial structures.Analytical skills that will allow to make sound business recommendations.Strong communication skills.Established bank relationships.Excellent organizational skills.
