The Litigation/Personal Injury Paralegal/Legal Assistant will support the team by ensuring the effectiveness of the law office operations and enhancing client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to optimize law office operations.Communicate effectively with clients, law offices, insurance adjusters, medical offices, and experts.Manage Prelitigation and Litigation matters throughout the entire process.Open and close case files efficiently.Handle a caseload of up to 80 cases.Assist in preparing for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.Draft and file legal documents including complaints, motions, briefs, and arbitration statements.Prepare special packages, discovery demands, and responses to interrogatories; review and summarize deposition testimony.Compose emails and correspondence as needed.Maintain the law office calendar, monitor deadlines, and ensure compliance.Facilitate the disbursement of settlement funds and manage check requests.Conduct client intakes and greet walk-in clients.Respond to inquiries from potential new clients.
Requirements:
Minimum of five years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in personal injury law.Proficiency with New Jersey e-courts, N.J. court rules, and legal procedures.Familiarity with case management systems such as SmartAdvocate, Filevine, or Needles.Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and Dropbox.Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).Strong administrative and organizational abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
